The Single Daddy Club Reece Book 3 edition by Donna Fasano Romance eBooks
When Reece Newton the senior claims adjuster for an insurance company meets Maggie Dunlap a private investigator of `wayward husbands' the sparks begin to fly. Maggie's claim for a damaged camcorder during a break in has been denied, labeled possible fraud for being over insured, and she is angry. When Reece hears that there was a recording on the camera to support one of her cases, he agrees to look into it. Reece is also the insurance investigator for Southern Maryland, and a clause in her contract includes coverage for recordings and lost wages. But now Maggie is scared because her home is being invaded on a daily basis, with no evidence of forced entry. Who is doing this... and why? Reece has a reason not to trust conniving women, and Maggie has a reason to be afraid and distrustful of men. It was frustratingly fun to watch Maggie and Reece try to fight their growing closeness as they both maintain they do not want a relationship; stubbornness and distrust get in the way of the desire they feel. This one is a bit spicier than the other books... deliciously so! Jeff, Reece's troubled son, is a part of it, too. It was fun to watch Reece come to see that "the apple didn't fall too far from the tree" and much of his attitude has rubbed off on his son. I loved how Maggie patiently worked to gain Jeff's trust and admiration, which helped change his attitude and win him over. The story about what is happening to Maggie and how it is resolved was fascinatingly scary and helped make this story my favorite of the three. I will miss these three not single anymore daddies, their friendship, and their families. This series is thoroughly enjoyable and would make a great omnibus!Product details

The Single Daddy Club Reece Book 3 edition by Donna Fasano Romance eBooks Reviews
I liked the book but was disappointed nothing was mentioned about Reese' s son Jeff towards the end.He became an important part of Maggie's story and not one word was said about his father's and Maggie's plans.obviously,Jeff would have accepted Maggie with his Dad but nothing was said.
Wonderful wrap up to the series. Nice twist on who the bad guy was. Great interactions between the characters and I really like the camaraderie the no longer single dads shared. I would recommend this series to any reader who enjoys great romantic stories.
In my humble opinion, Reece's story (the third in Donna's latest trilogy), was the BEST! I loved that there was more of a mystery in this book along with a wonderful romance and life lessons (for kids and adults!). Keep up the wonderful work you do, Donna, and thank you!!!
I picked up this book not only because it looked interesting but also because I've another book by Donna Fasano and liked it. While this is part of a series of books, The Single Daddy Club Reece is the only one I've read.
An easy read with a little mystery thrown in to make it interesting. I don't think I've ever read a book that centered around private investigation. In any case, this should be fun to discover why someone wants to stop Maggie from doing her job.
With the help of her insurance agent, Reece, wait a minute?!!! With the help of her insurance agent? Yes, I actually wrote that! Out of some sense of duty, after he sees that her place has been ransacked, he provides a place of safety while she figures it out.
I found certain parts of the story to be a real stretch for me. I'm not sure my personal insurance agent would go so far as to offer up his home if I was in danger. More than likely he would find me a shelter or a hotel to stay in and then leave me to my own devices! In this day and age, there is too many instances of bad things happening to good people, so to let a stranger into one's home is not a good idea.
While the mystery portion of the book brought a little bit of excitement to the mix, the reader should really consider this book to be a real fantasy as I don't think it would ever happen in real life. Although the storyline might make for a television movie of the week...hmmm...I wonder if Ms. Fasano has ever thought of that!
A romantic mystery. Single fathers band together to exchange ideas about being single fathers. Some, like Reece, have been married and divorced. Reese's wife ran out deserting her son. Now Reese was raising his son alone. Maggie, a private eye, met Reese and he liked her immediately. He was shy about trusting women as was his son, Jeff, hhis son, who was devoted to his father and privy to how his father talked about women. Maggie was deeply troubled as someone was tormenting her, breaking into her house, breaking and stealing her priceless posessions, entering her house when she was away and even stalked her when at bedtime in her home. As Maggie and Reece got to know each other, Reece wanted to help Maggie and keep her safe. Not thinking her home was safe, Maggie had no one to turn to or move in with and little money to rent living quarters. With extreme relief, Reece asked Maggie to move in with him and his son where he could help keep her safe. Much happened as Maggie was stalked and lived in fear. Reece's son, Jeff, was having issues about women and got into trouble speaking of women rudely and was asked to leave summer camp because he told his archery instructor that she would have trouble hitting her mark because her t---s were too big and the camp counselor thought Jeff using the 't' word was such a foul term that he had to leave camp as he was a bad example for his fellow campers. When Reece was summoned to camp to pick up Jeff, Reece was livid as to why his son was in such serious trouble for an innocent poor choice of words a little boy used, not even realizing what he was saying and what it meant? Reece was furious that his son was so seriously treated and was subject to extreme tongue lashing from the over bearing camp counselor. Reece decided to take Jeff home. It took some time before Jeff and Maggie became friends. When Reece discovered Maggie had been trained to council people with the problem Jeff and his father's feelings about women, he hired her to treat both of them. Slowly Reece and Jeff showed some improvement and practiced better manners around women. The romance developed between Reeve and Maggie but Maggie had her hang ups over men who treated her badly and did not encourage Reece's romantic advances even though she was definitely attracted to Reece. It took some time to deal with all their issues and solve the mystery of Maggie's stalker but in time everything became resolved and Jeff, who by now was crazy about Maggie, ended up with a new mother and a loving wife for his father. It was a sweet story. Carole Beighey
